Art Allen, Online Communications Coordinator

Art began working for Transit for Livable Communities in January 2008 as an intern. He is currently the full-time Online Communications Coordinator. In this position, Art edits the Transit for Livable Communities and Bike Walk Twin Cities e-newsletters and websites, coordinates Transit for Livable Communities' social media presence and blog, and other communications support functions.

Before joining Transit for Livable Communities, Art worked as a volunteer coordinator on a school referendum campaign in Robbinsdale, MN and on an independent gubernatorial campaign in Boston, MA. He also received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston.

In his spare time Art likes to write for a few blogs, participate in social media of all kinds, read memoirs, read fiction that reads like a memoir, and being in the urban outdoors.
