Michelle Dibblee, Senior Organizer

michelleMichelle has worked for Transit for Livable Communities since February 2008 – her first day of work was the day the legislature overrode the Governor’s veto of the transportation bill! Michelle leads TLC’s efforts to grow its membership base and strengthen member participation in hands-on advocacy and leadership development. She believes that Transit for Livable Communities’ active and engaged members are key to past successes and the foundation of our work for change; it is a privilege to work with them!

Michelle brings a decade of organizing experience to Transit for Livable Communities. She has worked in neighborhood organizations, coalitions, grassroots groups, and faith-based organizations in the Twin Cities and New York City. While past experience makes her most familiar with affordable housing and workforce development, she is eager to add transit/transportation expertise to her list of issues!

As a relatively new homeowner, Michelle is rapidly learning the joys and perils of keeping up with a garden each summer. She loves to be outdoors with her dog and is active with her Episcopal congregation and ISAIAH, a collection of congregations that are committed to build power for a worldview that prioritizes racial and economic justice.

Michelle can be reached at 651-767-0298 x110 or MichelleD [at] tlcminnesota.org.
