Minnesotans Need Transportation Choices! 

When it comes time to allocate money for transportation, decision makers say that they rarely hear from concerned community members.

That’s where you come in. We all have a stake in public transportation decisions because our lives are integrally connected to how we move people and goods. Our transportation system is a starting point for larger, deeper public discussions about the future of our region and state. Transportation policies should be shaped by the input and aspirations of all Minnesotans.

Your involvement makes a difference - but it is often hard to know when and how you can best contribute.

As a member of the Transportation Choices Network you will help...

• Build a comprehensive transit system with eight new transitways and more frequent service
• Increase important funding for public transit, which will help complete the regional transit plan by 2020
• Support investments in more sidewalks, bicycle lanes and trails, and smart transportation infrastructure
• Make our communities safer by slowing traffic in neighborhoods and improving pedestrian amenities
• Promote smart development along major bus and rail corridors

Network members receive our monthly e-newsletter, "On the Way," quarterly newsletters in the mail, email announcements to keep you informed, and important alerts when you need to take action. We send out approximately two alerts per month for most members. We won't share your email with anyone else, and you can be removed at any time.
