Personal Statement
My sense of professional responsibility as a transportation planner compels me to question traditional priorities. We typically design our streets for the vehicle and occasionally accommodate people. What if we designed these streets for people and made accommodations for the automobile?
I firmly believe that a robust transportation system is the foundation of a great community. This system should facilitate choices where affordability trumps convenience, and mobility is safe affordable and accessible for everyone.
