We start with sound information and analysis. We then work with residents, policymakers, and businesses to ensure that more people are involved in the transportation decisions that impact our communities. Transportation should serve people first, and Transit for Livable Communities is dedicated to making that happen.
Transit
A transportation system is a region’s circulatory system—and transit lines are the arteries. Each transit line creates a healthier transportation system, making it easier for all Minnesotans to reach their destinations. We have made great strides in securing steady funding for transit, yet Minnesota’s transit funding is still largely haphazard. Transit for Livable Communities continues to work to make transit funding a priority, ensuring that Minnesota’s transit system grows along with the state. Walking and Bicycling
